On this week's episode of The Diet Obsessed Podcast, I breakdown my unbalanced weekend in San Diego, where I drank WAY too much alcohol, ate disgusting food and caught Covid.
I then review a couple episodes of The Taylor Strecker Show, where she described her recent run in with "Chub Rub" where she became extremely uncomfortable after having to power walk 20 minutes to the Post Office in the sweltering heat.
This brought me back to a time in my life where my father was held back from participating in fun activities because of his health and I became emotional as I discussed the importance of maintaining some level of fitness, to prevent heart attacks, diabetes and the ability to live life to the fullest.
The second episode of The Taylor Strecker Show I review, involves guest host Joey Skladany who loves to eat, but also likes to maintain a lower body weight; he wants Taylor to keep the promises she keeps making to herself to "do something" to lose weight and get healthier. It probably doesn't help that he describes her as a "fried dumpling" but it's out of love, so she gives him a pass.
