On this week's episode of The Diet Obsessed Podcast, I give a quick update on my healthy week, leading up to a weekend of debauchery.
I then review an awesome episode of Jenny's Hutt's Weight Wednesday, where she discussed what people eat for comfort food when super stressed, but also don't want to gain weight.
Then we discuss a woman by the name of Jessie Inchauspe, a biochemist who goes by @Glucosegoddess on Instagram. I was very confused during the episode when I discussed this woman, because I had looked up the wrong instagram page which led to a comedian, but Jessie is actually who I was discussing (Sorry about that, lol! ) ANYWAY - Jessie discussed the importance of "putting clothes on your food" which basically means food combining to avoid glucose spikes. Jessie is an expert in blood glucose regulation and her interview was fascinating!
Finally, another health expert by the name of Dr. Yolanda MD came on to discuss cooking nutrient dense food and spices that add a ton of health benefits to your life. I love stuff like this and was happy to learn I already eat quite a few of them on a regular basis.
